Assessment 3 - 21st-Century Learning Skills

Create a hypothetical scenario in which a person would need to use all of the 21st-century skills mentioned in the presentation.

-The scenario should be one that could happen in real-life.

-Walk your audience through the process of completing the scenario.

-Explain how each 21st-century skill is necessary for the success of the scenario.

-Hypothesize what might happen if a person did not possess some of the 21st-century skills. How would the scenario end?

Assessment 2 - Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction

As you have learned, event 5 is to provide your learners with guidance in their learning.  Create a learning guide to assist you and your peers in remembering Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction.

Some ideas might include a mnemonic device, song, poem/story, mind map, graphic design, or dance/physical movements. 

Events must be presented in their correct order.


Assessment 1 - Brain-Based Learning

Create an educational poster around the ten teaching strategies that work in brain-based learning.  

-The poster should be informational.

-The poster should include graphics.

-The poster should be aesthetically pleasing so that a teacher would want to hang it in his or her classroom.

Post #4 - Real World Applicatoin

Revise a lesson plan you have used in the past.
Apply what you have learned about brain-based learning.Apply what you have learned about Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction.Give your learners opportunities to practice 21st-century skills.
Include the original version of your plan.
